Gold and Silver belong to God : Haggai 2:8

 Haggai 2:8

I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,' says the LORD of hosts. 8'The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,' declares the LORD of hosts. 9'The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,' says the LORD of hosts, 'and in this place I will give peace,' declares the LORD of hosts."

Dear Fineds
My name is Gloria Odiadi,
I am the CEO of Prettyfitscollections concepts(jewelry and watches gallery. I am here to tell you of the goodness of the Lord and to let you know that God loves you and wants you to enjoy all the great and wonderful things he has created on earth and also in heaven.

We are in the business of 18 carat jewelries and watches and the good news is that God wants you to enjoy and use Gold in this life. Gold is a sign of wealth, success and prosperity. God is not a God of poverty. He is a good God  of abundance, peace and joy.

Below are some of the important facts about Gold in the scriptures.

 1. Gold is good. In Gen. 2:12 God declares that gold is good because He created it. Paper money, referred to as "your wealth" will be consumed. Also, our so-called paper money is really made from a mixture of paper and cloth, which is referred to as "rag." Interesting that our righteousness is always referred to as "filthy rags" in scripture.
   2. Gold is tested by fire. I Cor. 3:12 tell us that the foundation and quality of our lives will be tested by fire. Notice gold and silver are simply purified by fire, but wood, hay, and stubble are consumed and loss if suffered.
   3. Gold is a sign of power and blessing. Throughout history the ruling class has always sought to own gold and silver, because they represent purity and longevity. Gold and silver are precious because they are scarce, they cannot be counterfeited by man. God commanded that the tabernacle in the OT and the New Jerusalem in the NT were to be built of gold. (Ex. 25 & Rev. 21)
   4. Gold & Silver belong to God alone. Hag. 2:8 tells us that "the silver is mine and the gold is mine saith the Lord."

Is God against His children using Gold and Silver?

The answer is NO
The streets of heaven are paved with Gold, therefore if the Gold and silver belong to God and the streets of heaven are paved with Gold, then Gold and silver cannot be wrong. The gold and silver of the world belong to the children of God.

 Revelation 21:21
The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.

20the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. 21And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. 22I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.…
